Abstract: La norma comunitaria di riferimento in materia di inquinamento delle acque da nitrati di origine agricola è rappresentata dalla Direttiva 91/676/CEE, nota come “Direttiva Nitrati”, che mira a prevenire concentrazioni elevate di nitrati nelle acque, limitando gli effetti inquinanti dell’agrozootecnia intensiva, ed a ridurre l’uso di fertilizzanti chimici. La Deliberazione n. 719 del 14 novembre 2023, presenta l’aggiornamento delle Zone Vulnerabili da Nitrati di origine agricola della Regione Lazio, ai sensi dell'art. 92 del D. Lgs.152/2006 e la conferma delle Zone Vulnerabili da Nitrati di origine agricola individuate con D.G.R. 523 del 30 luglio 2021. Di seguito la sigla e la denominazione delle 22 Zone Vulnerabili da Nitrati presenti nella regione Lazio: ZVN 1 - Maremma Laziale -Tarquinia Montalto di Castro ZVN 2 - Tre Denari ZVN 3 - Astura ZVN 4 - Pianura Pontina - settore meridionale ZVN 5 - Area Pontina ZVN 6 - Treja ZVN 7 - Vaccina ZVN 8 - Valchetta ZVN 9 - Aniene ZVN 10 - Malafede ZVN 11 - Sacco ZVN 12 - Arrone ZVN 13 - Marta_Vico ZVN 14 - Mignone ZVN 15 - Lungo_Ripasottile ZVN 16 - Arrone_Galeria ZVN 17 - Tevere ZVN 18 - Nemi_Ufente ZVN 19 - Alabro_Canterno ZVN 20 - Sacco Sud ZVN 21 - Acque Chiare ZVN 22 - Rio D’Itri.
